Vegard Ulvang (born 10 October 1963) is a retired Norwegian cross-country skier who won three Olympic gold medals, two silver, and one bronze. At the opening ceremony of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, he took the ceremonial Olympic Oath on part of all the athletes.

Vegard Ulvang is a Norwegian Nordic skier known both for his successful racing career and for his many adventurous trips throughout the world. He skied across Greenland and climbed some of the highest mountain peaks in the world, including Mont Blanc in Europe, Denali (Mount McKinley) in North.
After achieving only modest success at the 1988 Winter Games, Vegard Ulvang dominated cross-country skiing at the 1992 Games. At Calgary in 1988, he won a bronze medal in the 30 km. but four years later at Albertville he won three golds (10 km., 30 km., and relay) and a silver (combined pursuit).

Vegard Ulvang er en norsk tidligere langrennsløper og skileder. Mellom 1987 og 1994 tilhørte han verdenseliten i langrenn og vant i alt 14 OL- og VM-medaljer. OL i Albertville ble det store høydepunktet der han tok tre gull og ett sølv.
