Théodore Igorevich Strawinsky (Russian: Фёдор Игоревич Стравинский; March 24, 1907 – May 16, 1989) was a Russian-born painter. Life. Strawinsky was born in Saint Petersburg in 1907.
Théodore and Denise moved to Switzerland and took up residence in Geneva. The Galerie Georges Moos organised several solo exhibitions for the artist between 1942 and 1947. Right up to his death, Théodore Strawinsky exhibited his works in Switzerland, in France and in Italy.

Swiss painter of Russian heritage, Théodore Strawinsky (1907-1989), son of the famous composer Igor Stravinsky, was an extremely prolific artist. His work belongs to a dual lineage of Post-Impressionism and Cubism whose essential messages – a new relationship with reality and the autonomy of a work of art – he made his own.
Théodore Strawinsky naît le 24 mars 1907 à Saint-Pétersbourg. Il est le premier enfant du compositeur Igor Stravinsky et de son épouse Catherine, née Nossenko. Ses frère et sœurs, Ludmila, Soulima et Milène naissent entre 1908 et 1914.
Théodore Strawinsky’s first solo exhibition was held at the important Quatre-Chemins Gallery in Paris, on 3-16 June, 1927. The following year, he repeated the operation and displayed his Venus and Cupid.
Strawinsky converted to Catholicism in 1940. As from 1948, he began taking on regular commissions for stained glass windows, mosaics and frescos, which provided him with a regular income.
