24 de may. de 2024 · Edgar Rice Burroughs and Jules Verne (1864/2005, 1865/1993, 1869–1870, 1872/2017) were the first SF authors to capture my interest as I turned eleven and then twelve. In addition to Burroughs’ Tarzan stories, I found Verne’s undersea voyages, moon travels, and balloon trips around the world captivating as introductions to the wonders of scientific experimentation and futuristic technology.
