Petty Officer Edgar Evans (7 March 1876 – 17 February 1912) was a Welsh Royal Navy petty officer and member of the "Polar Party" in Robert Falcon Scott's ill-fated Terra Nova Expedition to the South Pole in 1911–1912.
El contramaestre Edgar Evans (1876 - 17 de febrero de 1912) era uno de los compañeros de Robert Falcon Scott en la tristemente finalizada expedición al Polo Sur de 1911-1912. Evans nació en Gales, hijo de un marino. Se alistó en la Royal Navy en 1891, y en 1899 inició su servicio en el HMS Majestic, donde Scott servía como teniente de torpedos.

Petty Officer Edgar Evans - Taff 7th March 1876 - 17th February 1912. Born 1876 in Middleton, near Rhossili on the Gower Peninsula in Wales, one of twelve children and the son of a sailor, Edgar Evans enlisted in the Royal Navy at 13 in 1891 and served on the same ship as Scott in 1899.
