I grew up in North America and was into jazz as a young kid, but I grew up in a family where I had a lot of exposure to it- my dad was into jazz and so was my grandpa, so they played jazz songs for me and I took piano lessons with a teacher who was a former 60s rock star also obsessed with jazz and gave me a lot of jazz pieces to play for piano.
