Back in 2017 the 6th film came out on Blu-ray and 4K, but only Resident Evil Afterlife (the 4th film) accompanied it onto 4K. 4 de nov. de 2021 · Movie It’s been years coming, but it’s finally here. Back in 2016 when Underworld: Blood Wars was being released we got a single 4K UHD upgrade of Underworld, but Sony declined to release the rest of the set onto Blu-ray (kind of like how we got 1-2 4K discs of the Resident Evil seriesi when the final film hit 4K and Blu-ray, but took years for them to release the full boxset).
4 de nov. de 2021 · The Blu-ray release of the film was always a 5/5 star encode from the get go, but I was truly floored by the 4K UHD release. It was the first film to shy away from film stock and go all digital, and it is GORGEOUS. Comparing the already great Blu-ray to this is just jaw dropping, as the 2160p encode just wipes the floors with the old encode.
10 de jun. de 2018 · We’ve had things like Mortal Kombat, Prince of Persia, Spy Hunter, Street Fighter, Doom, Resident Evil, Wing Commander, Warcraft, Assassin’s Creed, and the list goes on. I dare you to take that list and bring out ONE spectacular movie (ok, Mortal Kombat is probably the best of the bunch, but it is a hilariously tongue in cheek film that is such a guilty pleasure as to be almost parody.
