Our toddler (20m) is still not saying any words. I've heard him "accidentally" repeat a word maybe 5 times (a different word each time though). When I ask him to say "mama" he replies with his nonverbal no (a "mmm" sound with a falling intonation and a head that goes shyly to his chest). What can I do to encourage him to repeat sounds?
