Ryan Fleck. Director: Half Nelson. Ryan K. Fleck is an American film director, cinematographer, editor, and screenwriter best known for directing and writing the 2006 film Half Nelson and the 2008 film Sugar. He is known for his collaborations with fellow filmmaker Anna Boden.
Anna Boden and Ryan K. Fleck are an American filmmaking duo. The duo rose to prominence for their work on the 2004 short film Gowanus, Brooklyn, which earned the Grand Jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival. They went on to collaborate on the Academy Award-nominated film Half Nelson.

Ryan K. Fleck es un director, cinefotógrafo, editor y guionista norteamericano, nacido el 20 de septiembre de 1976, en Berkeley, California. Pasaría su infancia y adolescencia en Oakland, para luego mudarse a Nueva York, donde ingresó en la prestigiosa Escuela de Artes Tisch, de la Universidad de Nueva York, estudiando cine y guion.
