If he wanted some particular instrument more "clear", he would have recorded/mixed it that way. The biggest complaint of the 1996 stereo mix has been that it's too different from the mono mix.

Compared to The Beatles or The Monkees, the Stones were rough around the edges. Then you’d read about their maniac lifestyle and drug arrests, so I naturally gravitated towards that. Hace 7 horas · Da Showstoppaz weren’t a band for long according to Nola.com and they quit the music business, but the song was on YouTube and Big Freedia could well have heard it there or around New Orleans. Indeed it could be that Da Showstoppaz’s track is where Big Freedia got the idea for the phrase.

Although it has a running time of just 33 minutes and 28 seconds, Blackmore obviously felt it was complete, as he held back songs, notably 'Kill The King' and 'Long Live Rock’N’Roll', for Rainbow’s next album. Looking back at Rising, opinions differ. Bain (see right) remains positive.
