Hace 14 horas · I saw that people completely skipped Santa Laura, we were alone there. The town is a little further away via a dust road. It’s marked but not so well. Santa Laura. We then drove back to the hostel. While I write these lines, Alexis is playing pool with the other guests. We are taking it slow for the rest of the evening.

This site of the deadliest landslide in Canadian history, located in the Crowsnest Pass, had nearly 1,200 residents in 1906. It’s an eery burial site, as between 70 and 90 of the town's residents tragically died in the slide, and most of them remain buried in the rubble.
