En el Libro de Génesis de la Biblia, Enoc (a veces transcrito como Enoch, Enoq o Henoc; חנוך Janoj) es el nombre de varios personajes bíblicos mencionados en dos genealogías, y posteriormente por muchos autores judíos, cristianos y musulmanes (entre los cuales se lo identifica con el profeta Idris).
Enoch (/ ˈ iː n ə k / ⓘ) is a biblical figure and patriarch prior to Noah's flood, and the son of Jared and father of Methuselah. He was of the Antediluvian period in the Hebrew Bible. Some Muslims identify Enoch with Idris and consider him a prophet due to the Quran's recognition of Idris as a prophet.

The Book of Enoch (also 1 Enoch; Hebrew: סֵפֶר חֲנוֹךְ, Sēfer Ḥănōḵ; Ge'ez: መጽሐፈ ሄኖክ, Maṣḥafa Hēnok) is an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text, ascribed by tradition to the patriarch Enoch who was the father of Methuselah and the great-grandfather of Noah.
La tradición atribuía su autoría a Enoc (transcrito también como Henoc o en inglés Enoch), bisabuelo de Noé. En la actualidad hay muchos opositores del Libro y su contenido debido a su descripción detallada de los motivos del diluvio y el futuro de la humanidad.
Enoch es conocido por ser el séptimo patriarca bíblico después de Adán y un antepasado directo de Noé. Su historia se cuenta principalmente en el libro de Génesis, pero también aparece en otros textos judíos y cristianos, como el Libro de Enoc y los Rollos del Mar Muerto.
