15 de sept. de 2024 · Out of a total of 557 papers published in the Jornadas de Arqueología de la Patagonia since its inception in 1984 (38 years), 78% do not mention or discuss any taphonomic or formational aspect, 4% (n = 23) provide a novel contribution to the taphonomic approach, and 17% (n = 97) use some taphonomic variable to quantify the integrity and preservation of archaeological sites.
