Richard Leech (born March 26, 1957) is an American operatic tenor, recipient of the Richard Tucker Award in 1988, and particularly associated with lyric roles of the Italian and French repertories. Raised and educated in Vestal, New York, he attended Eastman School of Music but dropped out after a semester.
Richard Leech is pleased to announce that in the fall of 2023 he joins the faculty of George Mason University's Reva and Sid Dewberry School of Music in Fairfax, VA as Associate Professor of Applied Voice and Opera and Stage Director of Mason Opera Theater.
