Plano Senior High opened in 1975, replacing the original, traditional high school which is now Williams. This campus cost $10.3 million to construct in 1975.
Since 1891, Plano Senior High School has provided academically rigorous and innovative programs to meet the needs of our highly diverse community. PSHS is an 11th and 12th grade campus with a total enrollment of approximately 2300 students.

Plano Senior is the oldest of Plano’s Senior High Schools (grades 11-12) and, like the other two senior high schools in Plano, feels like a small college campus with a wide variety of classes, electives, and extra-curriculars.

On May 10, 2024, Annabelle Cooper and Jayden Foster, seniors at West High School, donned their graduation gowns. The two attached their tassels to their caps and prepared to walk across the stage to receive their degrees.
