Billy Dankert started drumming for Minnesota roots rock band Gear Daddies in 1984 and has been with the band ever since. Billy released his first solo record, “Bowling Shoes Blues,” in 1993 after the band’s initial breakup. Since then, Billy has sporadically released albums of solo material whenever he has accumulated enough songs to justify a release.
