Hace 6 horas · Dropping back to small. Hello Friends, Quite a contrast from yesterday morning. Swell slumped from 5 metres at sea around 0900 yesterday to 1.5 metres at the same time today. Conditions were looking pretty attractive otherwise, with light offshore wind and sunny skies. Waves were in the waist to maybe chest-high range on the bigger sets at Dee Why.

Hace 6 horas · Canterbury. National. A fishing boat that ran aground on the Otago coast has "pretty much broken up" following the dramatic rescue of two crewmen this morning. The boat - the Tamahine - ran aground at Taiaroa Head, below the Royal Albatross Centre on Otago Peninsula. A police spokesman said they were alerted to the incident about 7.30am.

I might be able to squeeze a little more lightwind performance out of it but really I got it so I could sail farther away from home, have the wind die, and have a more casual prone paddle back
