Unfortunately, she was unceremoniously killed off in WandaVision, dying of cancer in a flashback. Maria's death is a real shame, as actors Brie Larson and Lashana Lynch had some magical chemistry in Captain Marvel.

Now in it’s ‘second season’ Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (and Darcy from the 19999 making her 616 appearance) is just great art and solid comic booking.
