Cate School is a highly selective university-preparatory school for boarding and day students in grades 9–12 located in Carpinteria, California, eleven miles from Santa Barbara. In 2012, the school had 270 students, who came from 31 states and 18 foreign countries.

Applying to Cate. Thank you for considering Cate School. Detailed below are all of the steps to the application process. The inquiry form will always be the first step for all applicants. You may apply through Gateway to Prep Schools. As a reminder, the Cate application deadline is January 15.
