21 de mar. de 2021 · After many reader requests, I have finally turned my vanilla cupcake recipe into a full-sized cake! This vanilla cake turns out moist, fluffy, and tender. The whipped buttercream frosting is a reader favorite recipe - it's easy to make and has a classic sweet vanilla flavor!. This cake can be made, as written, in three pan sizes - a 9x13 sheet pan, 13x18 sheet pan, or as a 9-inch two layer cake.
7 de feb. de 2020 · Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, add the hot water/coffee, and whisk or beat on low speed until the batter is completely combined. Batter is thin. Divide batter evenly between pans. Bake for 23-26 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
23 de mar. de 2024 · Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 1 minute. Add the vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Sift the cake flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.

Grease 2 x 20cm / 8” cake pans with butter, then line with parchment / baking paper. (Note 9 more pan sizes) Best to use cake pan without loose base, if you can.

Mix on low speed until combined, then increase the speed to medium-high and beat until aerated and light, about 2 minutes. Stop the mixer and add about half of the confectioners’ sugar; mix on low to combine.
