Anything but repetitive (with consistently changing effects and patterns), this mix of SOPHIE's hit tune completely inverts the mood. It is classic AE, which will probably be a disappointment to people craving totally new things from the duo.

Out digitally today, the duo’s remix will be released alongside a previously unreleased B-side from SOPHIE called ‘UNISIL’; Glasgow label Numbers will issue the single on vinyl on January 28. One of Autechre hit back on the initial BIPP promo in 2013, so we asked Autechre and only Autechre to consider a remix. Unfortunately they were wrapped up in other projects. We persisted, and in 2018 (three years later) sent every SOPHIE stem and SysEx file possible from PRODUCT hoping they might do something unexpected across all the tracks.
