  3. Life. Born: 22 July 1846, Dublin. Died: 27 December 1931. Biography. Alfred Perceval Graves was an Irish writer. The poet and scholar Robert Graves and the writer Charles Patrick Graves were his sons. He was born in Dublin, the son of Charles Graves, bishop of Limerick. He was educated at Windermere College, and Dublin University.
