Series Description. Surfside 6 was a 60 minute comedy series on ABC about three Miami Beach private detectives who run their agency from a houseboat with a rich socialite's yacht right next door and a posh hotel with a swinging hangout called the "Boom Boom Room" right across the street. They worked hard solving cases and played hard at the Fontainebleau Hotel!
