Sarah Yorke Jackson (July 1805? – August 23, 1887) was the daughter in law of US President Andrew Jackson and Rachel Donelson Jackson. She acted as the First Lady of the United States from November 26, 1834, to March 4, 1837. Sarah Yorke was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Sarah Yorke served as co-hostess with Emily Donelson, per President Jackson’s request, when Emily’s name became associated with the Peggy Eaton Affair. Jackson also brought home an Indian child who was orphaned in 1813. They named him Lyncoya and raised him with Andrew Jackson Jr. He died in 1828. Andrew Jackson Jr., his wife Sarah Yorke Jackson, and their children kept Jackson company at The Hermitage in his declining years.

Sarah Yorke Jackson also assisted her widower father-in-law as a hostess in the Jackson White House. Her sister Marion Yorke Adams came to live at the Hermitage with her three sons after Marion's husband died in 1837, lending the youthful presence of children to the former president Jackson's retirement years.
