Plácido Domingo nació el 21 de enero de 1941 en Madrid, España. Familia Hijo de los cantantes de zarzuela Plácido Domingo Ferrer y Pepita Embil. En 1949 la familia se trasladó a México para trabajar en el teatro musical. Estudios Autodidacta en sus inicios, Plácido Domingo ingresó en el Conservatorio de Ciudad de México.
