Eddie & The Hot Rods were included in the Mojo Top 100 of most influential bands and they are often cited as an inspiration for many upcoming new bands. Unfortunately, in October 2019 came the awful news that founder member Barrie Masters had passed away at the age of only 63 after a legendary career at the sharp end of the band.
