About: Controlled Bleeding. Paul Lemos co-founded Controlled Bleeding, an experimental band, in Boston circa 1978. Lemos moved back to Massapequa, New York, reformed the group and ultimately released the band's ear-shattering debut full-length, KNEES AND BONES in 1982. The record is considered one of the earliest recordings of American power electronics.
