The Wadsworth Atheneum welcomes visitors with disabilities to the world of art. There are several city-maintained handicapped parking spots in front of the museum’s main entrance at 600 Main Street. The Avery Memorial entrance at 29 Atheneum Square North is barrier-free and accessible for visitors with wheelchairs and strollers.
