Jim Button arrives on the island of Morrowland in a mysterious package as a baby. When he grows up the King of the island is concerned that with the addition of Jim, there won't be enough space for all the inhabitants so he insists that someone has to be removed. This prompts Jim to leave the island with his friends and go in search of his origins.
