Magical walk through the forest to the falls. Jan 2020. Your first view of the Lone Creek Waterfall, a single ribbon of water dropping down into the forest, is from the parking lot. And then its a short walk through a verdant indigenous forest to a Ta-Dah reveal of the pool at the base of the waterfall. Not to be missed.
A few notes on our visit: * The public road leading to Lone Creek Falls is horrifying to drive - there are more potholes than tar. You'll need some time for this drive of approx. 8km. * There is a R30 per person entrance fee. * The car park is very safe and it's an easy 250m walk to the waterfall on a flatish path.
