In order to create a need for a superhero, Amazing uses his alter ego, the billionaire lawyer Lance Hunt, to argue for the release of the insane super-villain Casanova Frankenstein (Geoffrey Rush). 6 de ago. de 1999 · Last saw Mystery Men probably 1999/2000 depending on when the DVD came out. I didn't think much of it then and my opinion 20+ years later really hasn't changed. Now the movie has its moments I guess and I did chuckle a few times but otherwise I found it pretty dull in spite of the spectacle finale (topped off with late 90s effects).
