He currently works as the studio host for MLB Network and has been a part of many shows like MLB Tonight, Crystal Ball, and numerous others. Along with his professional life, his personal life has also attracted equal attention for a long time.
He encouraged Greg to study theater which Amsinger now says was a game-changer. After graduating Lindenwood University, Greg went to work for CSTV (now CBS Sports Network) before joining MLB Network. In the off-season, he’s also done college basketball play-by- play for the Big Ten Network.
Greg Amsinger is an American journalist and sportscaster. Currently, he serves as a studio host for MLB Network which he joined in 2009. Greg is well known for hosting MLB Network shows such as MLB Tonight. Previously, he worked at CBS College Sports/CSTV and at WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Indiana.
