März 1963 als Tochter von Anthony Kingston und dessen deutscher Frau Margarethe Kingston – geborene Renneisen – in Epsom in der englischen Grafschaft Surrey geboren. Ihr Onkel ist der deutsche Schauspieler Walter Renneisen, der deutsche Schauspieler Mathias Renneisen ist ihr Cousin.
