Born in New York State, Reggie Austin attended Yale University in their prestigious theater studies department. After graduation, he spent some time performing on stage in New York City before moving to Los Angeles, where he quickly booked the web/TV series "Quarterlife" (NBC, 2008), which began as 36 eight-minute episodes online, and was condensed into six 60-minute episodes on the network.
