Karen Steele. Actress: Marty. Karen Steele was born on March 20, 1931, in Honolulu, Hawaii. A former cover girl and model, she was one of the most strikingly beautiful actresses to ever work in film and television. She went to the University of Hawaii and to Rollins College in Florida before gracing our film screens with her first film in 1952.
American actress Karen Steele usually lived up to her name by playing tough, hard-shelled characters. After her 1955 movie debut, she co-starred in several Budd Boetticher-directed films (The Rise and Fall of Legs Diamond, etc.).

However, their idyllic life was cut short in the late ‘80s when she was diagnosed with cancer.
