What's not to like about "ARK-EOLOGY"? First, the CD cover is one of the best I've seen in years. The painting was chosen as the cover by Chad Stuart who found out that the artist Robert McCauley was ironically a Chad and Jermey fan. Forty years ago Chad and Jeremy put out their last album for Columbia Records, the very underrated "The Ark".

ARK-eology delivers -- in spades. You will not be disappointed. To anyone reading this who may be unfamiliar with Chad and Jeremy. These two guys are a class act whose hit, A Summer Song, is one of the prettiest ballads written and much beloved by those of us lucky enough to have heard it when it was first released.

10 de jun. de 2002 · I think Chad & Jeremy could have made a good stab at Folk-Rock, especially considering their folk scene origins and the fact that they were on the big label of Folk-Rock. But they never electrified, nor did they change their lyrical content from love song material as is typical of their songs here, until those last two albums, which was too late for the general public.
Chad Stuart (born in Windemere, England, on December 10, 1941) and Jeremy Clyde (born March 22, 1941, in Buckinghamshire, England) met while attending London's Central School of Speech and Drama. The two became fast friends, and after Stuart taught Clyde to play guitar, they formed a folk duo as well as a rock & roll group, the Jerks.
