20 de ene. de 2007 · Morton Feldman wrote “Three Voices” in 1982 for Joan La Barbara, so this recording is something of a document. But unfortunately I find La Barbara a sufficiently mediocre singer that I can’t form an opinion about the work, as Feldman’s music needs sensitive, accomplished performances to reveal its beauty.
