Allen Collins. Larkin Allen Collins Jr. ( Jacksonville, 19 luglio 1952 – Jacksonville, 23 gennaio 1990) è stato un chitarrista statunitense famoso per essere stato uno dei tre membri fondatori dei Lynyrd Skynyrd e per essere l'autore di Free Bird, uno dei brani rock più famosi di sempre.
Allen Collins est un des membres fondateurs du groupe de rock Lynyrd Skynyrd. Son talent unique pour jouer de la guitare et écrire des chansons a été un des facteurs de succès du groupe.
