Quite rare Hazlewood LP originally only released in Sweden were he lived in the beginning of the 70´s. Also rare in the sense that it´s quite funky with intense horn arrangements, groovy baselines and hard hitting drumming. Especially "You look like a Lady" is a floor filler. Interesting and a bit odd in the Hazlewood discography.

Lee Hazlewood, född 9 juli 1929 i Mannford i Creek County, Oklahoma, död 4 augusti 2007 i Henderson, Nevada, var en amerikansk country-och popsångare, låtskrivare och skivproducent, bland annat känd för sitt arbete med gitarristen Duane Eddy vid 1950-talets slut och med sångerskan Nancy Sinatra under 1960-talet.

The album 13 was never supposed to be a Lee Hazlewood album. It is perhaps the strangest record in one of the most varied discographies in music. The Bombastic brass heavy funk, deep blues and soul paired with Hazlewood’s subterranean baritone would be best enjoyed with a tall Chivas in an off-strip seedy Vegas lounge.
