Acting Career. Ann-Margret made her film debut as Bette Davis’ daughter in Frank Capra’s Pocketful of Miracles (1961). She rose to fame with her role in ‘Bye Bye Bride’, the film was a major hit and made her a superstar. Her early roles merely exploited her sex appeal. Throughout the 60s and 70s, she performed in some of the best movies.
Childhood & Early Life. Ann-Margret Olsson was born on 28th April 1941, in Valsjobyn, Jamtland County in Sweden. Her mother was Anna Regina while her father was Carl Gustav Olsson. Her father used to work in the US during his youth and went there again in 1942. Ann-Margret and her mother joined him in the US in 1946.
