All Cass Technical High School students are assigned to a specialized curriculum upon admission. Students follow a sequence of curriculum courses which are designed to deepen in-demand skills and knowledge and lay the foundation for the career of their choice. 16 de may. de 2024 · Cass Technical High School is an above average, public, magnet school located in DETROIT, MI. It has 2,395 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 24 to 1. According to state test scores, 20% of students are at least proficient in math and 56% in reading.
Cass Tech graduated its first class in 1910, though it was only six or seven students. The next year, the council approved $225,000 (more than $5 million today, when adjusted for inflation) to build a new building on the site of Cass Union. The triangular-shaped building was named Cass Technical High School and formally opened Oct. 23, 1912.
