In 2019, Canberra Grammar School welcomed its first cohort of female boarders into its new state-of-the-art Girls’ Boarding Houses. The male boarders are accommodated across two Boys’ Boarding Houses which have been extensively refurbished. All students enjoy Wi-Fi internet access, study and social spaces, and modern bathrooms.
Canberra Grammar School has always been a proud boarding school, and we are now the only co-educational boarding school in the ACT. Our tight-knit group of 130 boarders are a make-up of students from surrounding rural and coastal areas, local students whose families are on overseas postings with Parliament, Foreign Affairs and the Australian Federal Police, and from countries all over the world.
Canberra Grammar School is pleased to offer the Terry Snow Scholarship for Global Studies for a student wishing to take the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. In recognition of CGS Alumni, Terry Snow, and the contribution he has made to the School over many years, the Scholarship will be for a student who demonstrates excellent academic potential and a commitment to a global outlook.
