  4. 17 de nov. de 2023 · Ook in dit nummer zijn de arrangementen mooi, typische Blackfield, maar ook typisch Geffen die het op zijn bekende, klagende wijze zingt. “FOR THE MUSIC” is het kortste album in het oeuvre van Blackfield, er staat het minst aantal nummers op van alle 6 en de kwaliteit is ook per nummer heel verschillend.

  7. Blackfield is a collaboration between Porcupine Tree leader Steven Wilson and Israeli pop star Aviv Geffen. After years of mutual admiration, the pair met to discuss a set of concert appearances in 2000 and, further drawn together by their similar interests in the classic rock albums of the '60s and '70s, wound up composing the first song under the Blackfield moniker.
