Since 1886 when the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur established Notre Dame Academy at the corner of Ludlow and Franklin, students seeking an excellent Catholic high school education have come from all corners of the Miami Valley to this downtown location.
Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is a Catholic secondary school owned and operated by two religious orders, Society of Mary and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, in conjunction with lay persons. The downtown school has operated for 137 years at its current location on Franklin and Ludlow Streets in Dayton, Ohio.
