  1. Don't get me wrong, Scream 2 looks the best it ever has in this new 4K release. But it doesn't feel like it got the same love that the Scream 1996 release did a year previous. We've got some mild natural detail back now, an upgrade from the soft and waxy DVD/Bluray releases, but it doesn't quite pop the way the 1996 restoration did.

So, I guess I got lost in the insanity of Scream 2022's whole release, but I just realized I never bought the 25th anniversary edition Blu Ray/DVD/4K/whatever of the original a few months ago. Isn't there a copy, in some region/country, that released the uncut version for the first time since the laserdisc?

  7. 27 de abr. de 2018 · Scream were combining post-hardcore, dub/reggae, and sneaking in short hardcore punk songs in whatever nook and cranny they needed filled. It worked for me at the time I discovered it, heavily invested into Bad Brains and Agent Orange , and some elements of it felt just barely ahead of their time considering the ‘experimental hardcore’ landscape of 1985.
