  7. Mckenzie's remarkable talent as a player, singer and song writer is captured on a number of recordings made during the 1960's, but nowhere more so than on Stained Glass Morning released in 1970. Mckenzie, who plays piano and twelve string and wrote all the songs for the album, was joined in the studio by some notable session men, Ry Cooder among them.
