The Waitresses were an American new wave band from Akron, Ohio, best known for their singles "I Know What Boys Like" and "Christmas Wrapping."They released two albums, Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful? and Bruiseology, and one EP, I Could Rule the World If I Could Only Get the Parts.. The group was led by guitarist-songwriter Chris Butler with lead vocals performed by Patty Donahue.

  6. 14 de ene. de 2007 · I gave up. Finally, in '07, the song popped up on a CT AM station. The DJ even called the name: "Christmas Wrapping" by the Waitresses. While I cannot speak to the quality of this particular CD, (I haven't played any of my CDs yet) I can attest to the fact that "Christmas Wrapping" is one of the best rock n' roll songs that I've ever heard.
