Jeanine Durning is an Alpert Award winning choreographer and performer from New York whose work has been described by The New Yorker as having both “the potential for philosophical revelation and theatrical disaster.” Since 1998, Durning has created both solo and group works, presenting nationally and internationally.
Jeanine has a dedicated teaching practice, facilitating classes in creative practices including contemporary movement techniques and modes, as well as choreography, composition, and performance. She is regularly invited to advise the work of other makers and has done this in NYC, Berlin, Amsterdam, Philadelphia, and Toronto, among other cities.
