Although it adheres closer to Tim Palmer's cinéma du corps than New French Extremity, Eager Bodies is an underwhelming cancer drama with the occasional transgressive act (such as a threesome between the girlfriend with cancer, her boyfriend, and her cousin who the boyfriend is having an affair with), but there's enough value in its digital photography and straightforward acting to please.
