I’d always had in the back of my head this story that Welsh women, the Welsh settlers who went out to Patagonia in 1865 they had the vote. It was in the constitution that everyone who lived there over the age of 18 had the vote.
Sian Harries is a comedy writer and performer who co-wrote Greg Davies's Man Down for Channel 4 and Tourist Trap for BBC Wales, starring Sally Phillips.
