Barry Adamson explains, “ The Hummingbird is a Redemption song that started in Rome with the opening line. Written mostly on my phone, and recorded on my laptop, I wrongly had the tempo set at double speed, so the bass notes played twice as fast but that gave it a cool character, so I went with it.
